To maximize bearing life at today's increased speeds and higher temperatures, lubrication is the key and self-lubricating bearings from GKN Sinter Metals are meeting the demand. For optimum performance, variables such as material, design and lubricant can be tailored to suit your specific operating environment. Our bearings can be cylindrical, flanged or spherical and, by special request, different shapes are available. To further meet your needs, tolerances can be altered as well.
Our sintered bronze bearings are highly corrosion-resistant and have excellent running characteristics, while sintered iron bearings are ideal as a lower-cost alternative. Adding graphite to the sintering process improves noise reduction and boundary lubrication. |
